Song Of The Day: 2/14/12 (Rolling In The Deep)

Today’s song of the day is Adele’s terrific performance of “Rolling In The Deep” from Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. It was great to see her up there on stage tearing it up after having throat surgery only a few months ago to fix an almost career ending vocal cord hemorrhage. It would have been horrible to lose such a talent so early in her career, but fortunately we didn’t and she showed us that she could still wail in this performance. I know that this is Valentine’s Day and I shouldn’t be posting a song about a break up, but this is just how it worked out and it’s important to remember that there are a lot of lonely, broken hearted people out there, that also need love, especially today. So show a little extra love (or a lot!!!) to everyone you meet today even if you don’t know them and maybe you can make someone’s day just a little brighter. Remember “All You Need Is Love”. We all do!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day

In celebration of this wonderful day of love, I wanted to share a couple songs. The first song I wanted to share is “Happy Valentine’s Day” by OutKast. This is not the real video. No video was ever made for this song, but a couple of fans took the song on and made a pretty cool video for it.

I also wanted to share Paul McCartney’s newest single, which he performed on Sunday night at the Grammys, but no video of the performance was readily available online and this was the only thing I could find. There are no visuals, but the song is really nice and perfect for today, of course.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you lovers out there!!!
